About Us
We are a family run company that specialises in the design and installation of solar hot water heating and solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. We feel passionately about this technology and believe the time is now right for the wide scale acceptance of solar energy in the UK.
Concern over the environment and rising energy costs have all contributed to the need for renewable energies of which solar energy is one. The Government also recognises this fact and have signed up to the EU renewable energy directive which includes a UK target of 15 percent of energy from renewables by 2020.
We believe that sustainable energies should not cost the Earth
Our solar water heating installations use the highly efficient CPC INOX series of evacuated tubes from the German manufacturer Ritter. These collectors are provided with a highly reflective CPC mirror (Compound Parabolic Concentrator) which ensures that even at unfavourable irradiation angles direct and diffuse sunlight falls onto the absorber. This makes these collectors ideal for the UK.

Our photovoltaic systems use solar panels from the companies Mitsubishi, Schüco and SCHOTT which generate exceptional amounts of electricity. With our grid connected systems you can even sell your excess electricity back to the national grid making your home a mini power station. The newly announced feed-in tariffs make this a financially attractive technology.
We are Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) approved installers and as such you will be able to recieve the newly announced 'feed in tarrif' if you have your installation installed by Bright Energy.
We are also Renewable Energy Association Listed and as such abide by their strict code of conduct.
